Unjustified increase in BR and hypocrisy of developers

On BR decompression and double standards

The latest BR increase—meant to make the game more comfortable for World War II vehicles and to move vehicles that don’t fit their level—seemed like a very good idea. But in the end it turned into double standards and unjustified nerfs to vehicles.

Let’s start with the fact that “decompression” is a mask for nerfing vehicles.

An obvious example: I had a great lineup—LAV-AD (10.0), AH-6M (10.3), Wolfpack (10.3), Bradley (9.7), and A-10A (10.3, premium). Everything was fine: I faced at most 11.3, and I could still put up some kind of fight against the same Tunguskas and tanks that are a notch above me. But then, because of “decompression,” my Warthog jumped to 11.0 and, with tears in its eyes, hugs the ground to dodge missiles from the Tor-M1, Pantsir-S1, ADATS, FK2000, Ito 90M—and on top of that, fighters at 11.0+ with Fox 3-level missiles. My A-10 doesn’t have enough flares or chaff not just to reach the battlefield—it doesn’t have enough to dodge all this nightmare.

Now my AH-6M is supposed to somehow hide from the Ka-50 and its Vikhrs, from the Tor that sees me while I’m sitting at the helicopter airfield and kills me, and then a Su-33 flies in and simply incinerates it. Reminder: the AH-6M has no flares at all—none. And it wasn’t given some kind of thermal sight as moral compensation—no, it was just thrown to the dogs.

My M1 KVT was unjustifiably moved from 10.3 to 10.7 and now to 11.0. And it’s supposed to somehow fight tanks with ERA and APFSDS that penetrate it through any spot thanks to the “best balancer.”

On the Israeli tree, the Skyhawks (A-4E with TV-guided bombs) were given a 10.0 BR. Now we have an aircraft with low maneuverability and speed competing with the Yak-130, which has better maneuverability and speed, and whose TV-guided bombs lock onto vehicles better. And let’s not forget the Osa-AKM and Strela-10M2, which will incinerate it already on approach because it won’t be able to dodge them.

Let’s move on to the Pantsir-S1: it has 4 radio channels and fights against slow, clumsy 10.0 BR vehicles that now, thanks to 11.0 and the balancer, face it with no problem. A-6E TRAM says hello: it can’t even reach the target because it gets shot down, and anti-radiation missiles won’t help because they’ll be knocked down in 3 seconds.

That’s not the whole thought I wanted to get across, but still, I’m fed up: they wrecked the lineups and think people will go buy premium packs just to have something in their lineup. Nonsense.
